How quickly does a Transitions lens darken and lighten?
As soon as the lens is exposed to the UV radiation of natural sunlight, darkening begins immediately — within seconds you can enjoy the benefits of a tinted lens. The lightening process is just as fast as the darkening. As soon as UV radiation disappears, the lens begins to lighten immediately.
