KLÁRA SIMÓ, HEAD OF OPTISTYLE
Klára Simó has had a long journey to make her dream come true, she was born in Transylvania and gained her first professional qualification there. After arriving in Budapest in 1990, she started her career at the first and only optical salon of Hungary at the time in the prestigous area nearby the famous shopping street, Váci utca. Those days shops with optician’s services operated mostly in tiny, crammed premises, thus the downtown salon was an elegant place to welcome patients with its crystal mirrors and impressive fountain. Klára became the manager of this salon within a few years and later was appointed to head the Optirex optician’s salon in Szent István körút, opposite the beautiful building of the popular theatre, Vígszínház. Working in this area for 15 years she could get acquainted with many well-known representatives and characters of the theatre-world and her professional competence, kindness and utmost attention soon earned her relevant reputation by simply word-of-mouth advertising. She could welcome many public figures, popular artists, famous musicians and great writers among her regular customers and patients.
